IMPORTANT NOTICE: This is meant to be a "free and easy" adventure trip. Participants should be relatively fit, with a good sense of humor, and above all, have the right attitude for close travel with others through possibly some trying times. Most definitely, this is not a trip for prudes, whiners, fuss-pots, and other similarly assorted types! We had a couple of those before and it wasn't pleasant for us or them. Although every effort will be made to stick to the given itinerary, ground conditions may change and cause some disruption and/or deviation from the norm. Otherwise, have fun!

Nestled amidst the pristine Himalayan foothills, your journey through Uttarakhand's Jim Corbett National Park, Nainital and Bhimtal promises to be a captivating odyssey through the heart of India's natural and cultural wonders. Prepare to embark on an adventure, where lush landscapes, majestic wildlife, serene lakes, and last nut not least, the vibrant energy of the nation's capital converge to create a travel experience to roar about!

DAY 1 KLIA-DELHI Assemble at KLIA by 1600, to catch departing KL flight at 1900, arriving Delhi 2210. Overnight Delhi (nearby airport hotel)

DAY 2 DELHI-CORBETT After easy breakfast, we have a 5-6hrs drive to Corbett National Park, with a lunch stop enroute. On arrival, we check-in at our Glamping resort, to then relax and explore surroundings on your own, but not going too far as we are now in Tiger country! Overnight Jim Corbett National Park (B,D)

DAY 3 JIM CORBETT NATIONAL PARK AM-Enjoy an early morning optional jeep safari, as this is the best time for wildlife watching, and we should be back at camp late morning, After lunch and rest, we will head out for another late afternoon optional jeep safari to another part of the park. Overnight Jim Corbett National Park (B,D)

DAY 4 COBERTT-NAINITAL AM We take in a 3-4hrs slow ascending drive to the Lower Himalayas to arrive Nainital for lunch and then check-in to our lakeside hotel. PM Free and easy afternoon to explore Nainital on your own. Take a stroll around the lake, chill on a boat ride, go shopping and snacking along Mall Road, the main bazaar, or all three and more! Overnight Nainital (B)

DAY 5 NAINITAL AM Warm-up walk with an easy 1hr one way hike up to Tiffin Top, to catch expansive views on Nainital Lake and environs. PM Will be an English afternoon as we visit Governor’s House with its British architectural charm, explore Gurney House museum, and discover the archaic St John’s Church. Overnight Nainital (B)

DAY 6 NAINITAL A moderate China Peak Trail hike of about 8kms await us today. Starting at 0900, at a relaxed pace and lots of photo stops, plus lunch on top, we should be back to our hotel about 1500. The trail is gently undulating, with plenty oak forest bathing enroute. Overnight Nainital (B)

DAY 7 NAINITAL-BHIMTAL We drive 1hr to Bhimtal Lake to explore Sattal, a group of interconnected freshwater lakes, and then visit the High Altitude Zoo to catch sight of various rare Himalayan animals and birds. By early afternoon we should be checked in at our riverside Glamping resort to enjoy serene surroundings amid coffee, chai, and conversations. Overnight Rill and Riverl Luxury Camp (B,D)

DAY 8 BHIMTAL A moderate hike of about 6kms to Pari Taal Lake will take about 4-5hrs. This is a less explored trail and destination, with beautiful nature hugging the walking trails. We should be back mid-afternoon to chill by the riverside. Weather permitting, we will have a bonfire when twilight falls, enjoying our last night in the lower Himalayas with good spirits. DAY 9 BHIMTAL-DELHI After breakfast, we take in a 5-6hrs return drive to Delhi. Arriving late afternoon, we will stay around Connaught Place, and free and easy time to explore this iconic center of Delhi at your own pace. Overnight Delhi

DAY 10 DELHI-KUL A short Delhi city will take us to the Red Fort, Qutb Minar, India Gate, and Chandi Chowk market time permitting. Mid-afternoon we head for a modern mall near the airport for a cool and comfortable mall trekking, have our dinner, and then an easy transfer to the airport 2000 to catch our KL bound plane departing 2330. Arrving KUL 0735(+1)
