IMPORTANT NOTICE: This is meant to be a "free and easy" budget adventure trip. Participants should be relatively fit, with a good sense of humor, and above all, have the right attitude for close travel with others through possibly some trying times. Most definitely, this is not a trip for prudes, whiners, fuss-pots, and other similarly assorted types! We had a couple of those before and it wasn't pleasant for us or them. Although every effort will be made to stick to the given itinerary, ground conditions may change and cause some disruption and/or deviation from the norm. Otherwise, have fun!

NAMIBIA is a land of raw, untouched beauty, where endless deserts meet rugged mountains, and wildlife roams freely across vast, open plains. It’s a place that feels like another planet, with its towering red dunes in Sossusvlei, the otherworldly Deadvlei, and the second-largest canyon in the world, Fish River Canyon. The country’s coastline is equally mesmerizing, where the cold Atlantic Ocean crashes against the Namib Desert, creating a hauntingly beautiful landscape dotted with shipwrecks and bustling seal colonies. Inland, you’ll find ancient rock engravings at Twyfelfontein, the eerie ghost town of Kolmanskop, and the iconic Quiver TreeForest, where nature and history intertwine. Namibia’s charm lies not just in its landscapes but also in its people, who welcome visitors with warmth and hospitality.
